My throat aches,
knees are weak
lookin/'/ at you
I cannot speak.
My sun is fading,
too ashamed
nothing I/'/ll do
will stop this rain.
This rain that pours
and never seems to end
you won/'/t get anywhere
without a friend.
But, all my friends are gone
you see...
they didn/'/t wanna be
within ten feet of me.
I told this lie
that was horrible,
and as it grew bigger
it was unforgivable.
At the end
it was bigger than most
I/'/ve been walking around
pretending I was a ghost.
For awhile I was,
people would forget I was there
they didn/'/t laugh,
they didn/'/t care.
Until one day
I got on my knees,
I prayed to god
asked to be forgiven of my deeds.
And I was saved...
