Pieces there -
The pieces of my life,
Seems to be everywhere.
How did I become so broken...
Shattered shards,
Of all my dreams -
There is nothing left of me.
It seems.
Wrong turns,
Bad decisions...
I look back and just cannot fathom -
Why did I allow my soul,
To be held ransom?
There is a ray of hope though...
Something to keep what/'/s left of me together -
Someone to hold my hand,
On the road to recovery forever!

I love this poem
it could apply to
so many struggles
to so many different
type of folk,
and to stop and think
of all the pieces
in all the places
searching only
for the one real

Dearest LadyCC
As you know I/'/ve just finished watching Game of thrones. Now I know its just a story, however there is much that relates to this peace of yours. Take Reek for example he was Lord Theon, he was broken down by Lord Ramsey. Then there is Lady Arya she also went through a lot seeing her farther beheaded her home burnt down and her mom, brothers also murdered. Now Theon chose to give up and rightfuly so, what he went through and no one to hold his hand and help him be strong. Now on the other hand Lady Arya she faught back, but the difference is she had someone to hold her hand, that ray of hope (light) When I look at you I see Lady Arya, not so brutal and cold but as strong willed as she is, not prepared to lie down and give up. One can not help but reach out to you and hold your hand. What we need to remember is that one can only help those that want to be helped. You can say Theon had no one to hold his hand and you would be right, initially it was so, but later on people wanted to help him and he shyed away. Whereas Arya she is fighting like mad to stay sane and revenge her family. I/'/ve read this piece a few times now and I must comment again. Very beautiful and powerful message in this piece. God bless love
