Likable fellow, detested by none, planted along the building facing easterly. While above, malevolent creatures plotting demise, an ending so dastardly. With one swift motion, the plan to be carried out with caution. An eagerly swaying branch, begging for detachment. While his fists appearing clenched, he reaches for his satchel. Pulling out a weapon to end all, in early fashion. Pressed up to his skull, the coldness striking him alert. As with a single pull, the world he knew could no longer cause him any hurt. As realization often is profound, such an instance of skin against metal dissipates his dark cloud. A man reborn, a life spared as he now stands tall. He smiles as he starts to rise, for the branch it begins to fall.

I like this. It makes me think of new beginnings. Sometimes even in tragedy things are born. Maybe another journey around the bend. Maybe not but who truly knows. Nonetheless quite thought provoking. Well done. |

Viola! Saved in the nick of time from the brink of extinction!
When I was a young mom, all I wanted was a day without having to be responsible for others.
Now, many years later, I long to be necessary again. Full circle.
Your tale sends us a vital message; Pause before you act! A clever story well told. Most engaging and leaving us with hope in our hearts.
