lance and sword in hand;
Ready for a battle;
Fearless, in command.

Sunset came with none to tame;
No creatures crossed his sights;
Although he stayed another day;
and hunted through the night.

Home he rode defeated;
Flung wide his cottage door;
His daughter sat surrounded;
With creatures on the floor.

Scattered at his presence;
Terror in thier hearts;
Absent soothing essence;
swiftly did depart.

If you would gather creatures;
Abandon victory;
Sit peaceful in the stillness;
And they will come to thee. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 559 [topic] => 40 [informant] => softerware [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => fantasy )

Dear Soft

The moment I was done reading this two names came to mind. Gandhi and Mandela, I/'/m sure they aren/'/t the only two men that had peaceful ways but they are my frame of reference, you piece is beautiful and rings true in more ways than one, I myself was without my Queen for four years as you well know, and this separation was dew to my own in ability to resolve things peacefully. I/'/ve learned that the camp humble and peaceful way heelds much better results. Beautiful write thanks for shearing. God bless

Greetings
Rus
