Those faded memories
I once bestowed
The petals and leaves
Fall from the flowers and trees
Down to a meadow of greens
With such a soft fluid motion
Rather dreamy it all seems
Up and over the hill
They too will go
To float away in the stream
Like a long forgotten dream
A path unshown
Future destiny unknown
That/'/s how one/'/s life
Just seems to flow

A lovely analogy, like sitting in a rocking chair to follow your timing and rhymes. This is a soothing and affectionate look at our life patterns.
The visual you create sets the path for us to follow. You make is so easy to take up the threads of your tapestry and finish the weave with our own experiences. Bringing the meaning home.
That takes talent!

Beautifully written with a somber note.
I went on a late night nature walk yesterday and Mother Nature was proudly strutting her beauty all around. The sky was full of stars, and I was walking this lovely, endless trail full of trees in all shades of Autumn. My dog was enjoying the many scents, and I was captivated by the sights.

Life is uncertain, but it sure has become precious.

Thank you for this poem! It left me with many good feelings. Odd?

"Future destiny unknown". Ain/'/t that the truth! Even if I get a sign, I rarely heed it or understand it.

Great write!
