c r a w ling memories
vines...snaring sunnriise

obscuring

windows frost to glass,
skittering fingers dancing tinkling icey keys,

drowning smiles born of hope,

though dropped, flat-keyed

slew by yesteryear, these co-opted eyes
of mine;

potential gone, grown cold

bad porridge
tasting what was, wasn//'//t,
is....

sweetness strong anew befouled

imbued of lies phantasmal alone,

aborted

this dance for me, flash of substance,

legless,

yet stomping, wrecking
in vigorous reaquantenace
I,

predicatabley ever lame prey.

War comes! Trumpets foul blow to first dawn//'//s blush

heralding this new day,
wiped clean

as if first breath granted an appetite of soul

naively rushing to savor me,

a dish of seared defeat!

Harken!

Oh! JOY!
My champion sleeps

awash in dreams of smiles, life, joy;
Frown dark memories seeking purchase

banners limp
there, her cranial field
never designed for her own war,
my foe to find deigned toothless,

gripping it//'//s standard, sagging for lack of foe;

no battle with no enemy to show!

Ha! you toothless tempest, no purchase for cleats to pierce.

peace spelled cleaner, simpler
than
a grade school primer, even in her repose,

though!

with sword,
she wields silently, unknowingly, unerringly,
fighting again with,

tucked to her breast, my coquettish ((oops!)

dropped lace of distress

retrieved in Matrix glitch fashion
my wife
my champion,
tirelessly slaying duress
sent for me,

weakest easy prey.

Now renewed,
feet to floor,

enemy free,
a smile for my day. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 118 [topic] => 37 [informant] => invierno [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ThankYouPoems )

Not your norm and out of the box for sure.
But I honestly like this impromptu style. Glorious man, glorious!!!!!!!!!!

You have found a style that gives free rein to your imagination. I so enjoy the unrestrained meandering. It is rich and warm with freedom to dance all over your thoughts. You are very close to literally speaking as your mind speaks.
This is a jingle that becomes a symphony. It is not the tune; but the musician who tells us what the music will be.

Scary good , intense spellbinding mysterious puzzling , as if coming from another plane of existence , a higher source of knowledge by aquaintance , the Wisden kind, as the Kennan kind can not be expressed in words ,
You express deep profound wisdom knowingly with your words and I for one am happy to make acquaintance with you n your knowledge x
