I知 great in a crisis;
Obsess over prices!

I know lies from the truth;
I知 weird and uncooth.

When your life is complete;
Ill be way obsolete.

We both wish we壇 change;
Yet wed never exchange;

To be what we arent;
Or trade for another;

The truth of it is;
Im a genuine mother. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 99 [topic] => 54 [informant] => softerware [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => happypoetry )

A common question once adulthood is reached and more-over once you become a parent. Should I be their friend or become their enemy? Every circumstance opens a different door and it is up to us to make the correct decision. Growing older is inevitable yet it is up to us to either let it control us or us control our getting older by learning from our past and sharing our knowledge and experiences with others. Every one of you poems shares a piece of who you are and your knowledge that only the past can teach..another amazing piece that speaks volumes through very few words.

So down,
low, hidden,
seeing the root,
dirty in the soil
free, earthly

Then, up
sky blue, gray
rainbow, puffy cloud
billowing, passing by,
fools gold, giant mountains
off in, this distance, of view,

or not of Earth skies, starlight
first star, than a rush
of stars passing by, almost moving
past one point that seems stationary
but is not

the night sky past the lights of the city
the universe
Who are You?
What do you smell like,
do you leave you essence
wherever you go?

maybe you lived before
a long time ago, and going
back you know,

maybe you don/t care
I don/t care if you don/t
care

what anybody says
like in a conversation
No, as a parent,
i would never try psychology regarding who I am

with my children
who am I
in the nature of things

might be vastly different
than what I see
Since I possess
nothing but gratitude

Peace!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ツゥ
