[hometext] => A long time ago a little girls innocence was taken, the rest of her life was affected in many ways. That little girl was me.
[bodytext] => I’m angry just thinking about it Why me, what did I do? My innocence was stolen And no one has a clue It’s all “hush hush don’t speak of it” I hang my head in shame I’m tired of all the hiding My life is not a game So long ago, still painful It hurts that I’m betrayed You act like everything’s ok There’s a price you’ll never pay I’m trying to forget now And bury it deep down But I hope one day it haunts you And in your guilt you’ll drown Since this poem was written the guilty party has been convicted and had a short spell in prison. It gave me closure, and helped me heal. I will never forget, but I have found a way to live with it. Unfortunately I can never forgive - Dawny [comments] => 1 [counter] => 230 [topic] => 6 [informant] => akadawny [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )
