nervous flirtation in my own
Wondering if youre all alone
whos got the keys to your home?
And this is something new to me too
I mean, who feels this way after week two?
After all that Ive been through
Id do it all again for you

And whos gonna take you home tonight?
(In front of a bar with a friend smoking her cigarette)
I can see you back-lit by city lights
(On the side of the street buzzed and shivering cold)
Waiting for your cab to arrive
How often do I cross your mind

Waking up next to you
my new favorite thing to do
I kissed you on your forehead
and I fell right into you
I cant explain why this just works
Like our belief in gravity
Something we dont fully grasp
We just expect to be

And whos gonna take you home tonight?
(I can pray that Im the lucky guy)
I can see you back-lit by city lights
(Holding your thumb above my name)
Waiting for your cab to arrive
How often do I cross your mind

This doesnt have to mean much to you
Only say that youll see it through
Because Ive got enough love for us two
Ive got enough love for me and you

And you look like youre cold
Put your hands in my sweatshirt
On the way home
