we smile on the outside but inside we silently scream
social vampires seduce while feeding off us as we bleed
living in distress only makes a place for monsters to breed
I have to hurt you cause you hurt me

we are going backwards
my medication has me drooling
religion was never the answer it was just a delusion
fake news fails and so does collusion
all lives matter there should be no confusion
if Jesus reappeared they will say its a Illusion

theres not enough time to address
all the stress
been feeling real sick but it makes no sense
to go to the doctor cause I can not afford insurance
even though I am paying my bills
I have not made a dent
my smile becomes crooked and cracked from all the torment

I hear the static from the radio
and the music blaring through the wall
am I awake or asleep I am not really sure
til I heard the argument in the hall
and I am laying here wondering why
I feel the need to remember a dream

As the world runs down despair takes the lead

Hey! Are you trying to lift the rose tinted glasses from my eyes? People have done that to me and it only leads me to blindness and insanity. Semi-kidding aside, you hit a big chunk of stress points in our lives I can only say, well done and knock it off!
