Why do all the bad things imprint so deeply?
I can/'/t remember any of my Christmases or birthdays....but that fall down the stairs is crystal clear!
Perhaps joy is benign and pain certainly is NOT.
Your poem is a wish to erase. But what was, made you who you are, so be thoughtful what you delete!
I like the person you are, sir poet!

“It`s so hard to forget pain, but it`s even harder to remember sweetness. We have no scar to show for happiness. We learn so little from peace.”
― Chuck Palahniuk, Diary

That quote is what this poem makes me think of. Two thumbs up!

Thank you,

Tim

The pain fades way to slowly
emotional torture is the worse

I feel so much from this wonderful work of art. I relate to your style, although I may take something more or different from this than its intention as you wrote it. But that is what good writing does. it touches each reader in a certain individual place in their soul. The last two lines continue to echo in my mind even as I finish this comment.
