[hometext] => May Your Time be Very Late!
[bodytext] => She was only skin and bone; living quietly all alone; And all were welcome in her home, Except of course the undertaker. A local well-known troublemaker. Determined she should meet her maker. Despite a multitude of tries; she always found an alibi; Too wise to meet her own demise! But in due time we all must cease; as life began, it must retreat. Reading by the fire one night; the flue snapped closed an held there tight; although she pulled with all her might. When she could stand the smoke no more; she opened windows, opened doors; the moment death was hoping for. He seemed a sort of good luck charm; come to save her from all harm, and lifted her into his arms. He wasnt fearful, wasnt grim; he drew her gently close to him; her life light flickered, growing dim. That, they say, is how she died; Peacefully and long denied. May we each keep fate outguessed; may our lives be thusly blessed; And bring to us a gentle guide; In whose arms we can decide; That home waits on the other side.
