Or just in the wrong place,
But nothing seems to clear
The tears on my lonely face.

Nothing can dry these eyes
Or heal my lonesome heart,
I wish I knew just what to do
Where it is I should start.

There are so many that I see
When I’m out with friends,
But when it’s time to approach
The courage quickly bends.

And yet again I let another pass
Without a single word,
The fear of rejection comes to play
Silenced like an evening bird.

Maybe it’s too soon
Or maybe it’s too late,
Perhaps I’m just waiting
For that thing that they call fate.

What ever it is, I’m still alone
Not how I want to be,
Surely there is someone out there
Just waiting to be with me.

Don't let your fear hold you back!! It's the most amazing feeling when you finally let all your fears go out the window and just jump in with both feet and really live. I've been bound by fear and I've just recently started living without fear, and trust me, the way I live life now is so much better. It's just a wonderful feeling.
