And you wish my thoughts I would show
Well look real close and you will see
The ugly truth inside of me
Someday soon you will notice
The silent tears sliding down my face
I know you can't see them now
But keep looking closer
And someday they'll be there
It will shock you very much
For I will still be smiling
But you will see the streaming tears
Falling from inside
They never end and never die
They will always be there
Right before your eyes
So look a little closer
And watch a tad bit better
Then you'll see the silent tears I cry [comments] => 3 [counter] => 320 [topic] => 32 [informant] => lostforgood [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

Often people ask how we are, and what it is we are feeling because we may have a difficult time expressing our pain or emotions. Be patient with others, though they may not see your tears, or the pain you have inside, most people truly care, and will do what they can to help you over come the things you are going through!!
Good poem!!!

there are many of those around you that cry those same tears, and you may see it yourself and you may not. however the best thing to do is let those who try to see them help you out. trust me I had those same tears for a few years and I finally let someone help , me out.
you may always shed those tears but let others see them a bit more it will help
good write, very good it made me think a bit.

Wow, it's so true. So many times we put on a false smile, just because we're not quite sure how to express our true emotions to others. But really, if they just took the time to look a little closer, they'd see what they want to know.
