Unraveling slowly like a ball of twine
I don't even remember when it begun
Or even if the fault is all yours or mine
I don't remember the last I love you
Or the last time we touched
I like to place all the blame on you
But truth is the fault lies within me too
I can't pretend anymore that things will be fine
And I hate how you are always on my mind
You once used the word soulmates
I won't lie..I thought that's what we were
But your love so quickly turned to hate
And my love is still here of that I'm sure
If given another chance to make things right
I would do it in a heartbeat without thought
Just to have you back by my side
