that's in some minstral's lay.

You'd think a pound of anything
Would able bid E-Bay.
I own ten million shares of stock
ENRON is what they say.

I weighed the shares upon a scale
to see what they did weigh,
They weighed a pound and worth around
"Gazoo", the brokers bray.

Now, if a pound is worth a pound
Shares aught some value pay.
All the long-eared jackels neighed,
"Nay, nay, nay nay, nay, nay."

So, get me knife or get me gun,
I blew my dough, today,
When Shirley finds out they skinned my rinds
There ain't no way to stay. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 178 [topic] => 7 [informant] => norm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

As for myself Iv been a dead beat lately so I always look forward to reading. I have taken my rollacoaster rides in the stockmarkets
more like the insiders skim the milk of the outsiders
when the fruits are ripe and the crowds rush in to buy
the big boys pull out the rug from my, my, my!!!
If you still wanna find out why, don't be shy
the blue chips are about to stage an all time high
and gold is the commodity for which most people die
don't stay on the sidelines, dive in & buy..buy...buy.

Always a delight to sail up your verse coast Norm.
