Casting light against the pane
Where there reflects a womans face
With tears like gentle rain
So softly falling without sound
As she recalls his painful words
Of the distance that he's craving
So that she may go unheard
As though their time meant nothing
He showed no feelings as he left
Nothing more than painful words
To make her wish that she was deaf
She knows he didn't love her
That never mattered to her heart
So long as he would always know
Whether near or far apart
Her time with him was precious
Every moment warmed her soul
But till now she never realised
To him, his precious time she stole
So blaze about them saying goodbye
As if her feelings were not real
No feelings did his heart possess
Like it was made of cold hard steel
Such foolishness becomes her
As time and time again
She sits alone with broken pieces
Of her shattered hearts remains
There's a candle in the window
Casting light against the pane
Where there reflects a woman
Who has been a fool once again [comments] => 2 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 48 [informant] => LovingWhispers [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I love your poem because
  • It's real in so many ways
  • It has depth
  • It inspiresm people

and there are more, of course, but listing them all would take too long and I g2g. Great poem
