I sat here like the millions
and stared in disbelief
at the total devastation
there loss, there pain, there grief
i couldnt find no words
and i couldnt stop the crying
ive spent the whole day praying
for the wounded, dead and dying
Jesus, can you hear them?
Lord are you awake?
is there any explanation
for the lives these madmen take?
i hoped that i was dreaming
but its tragically so true
i'm still crying and still praying
its all that i can do...
