daddy i love so dear
please dont hit mommy
it drags upon a tear

matt, you shouldnt have died so soon
now were at ur funeral playin you favorite tune
but now that you took your life
all of ur friends live in strife

auntie you took away your life
with a gun and a knife
you didnt have to go
but i love you even so

scars upon my arms
make me feel so warm
keep me sane inside
but still i have to hide

i hide from the pain
of every single day
when momma was hit
my room is where i sit

when matt took his life
because of his wife

my family doesnt see
the torment inside me
its hiden behind a wall
that i built to stand so tall

auntie killed some one
and now her life is done

and im losing people left and right
i wish i could just say goodnight [comments] => 4 [counter] => 218 [topic] => 13 [informant] => dreadfulsuicide1570 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

possibly my favorite poem of yours i have read... so much feeling contained in one poem. my favorite line was:

"scars upon my arms
make me feel so warm
keep me sane inside
but still i have to hide"

i think that is true for a lot of people, remember every scar is special and tells a story, we all have our scars whether they are visable or not... dont be ashamed of them ~Apryl
