Array ( [sid] => 20659 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => MR. A I D S. [time] => 2003-07-19 06:05:00 [hometext] => In the absence of any effective treatment for the killer disease AIDS, the number of HIV infected persons, has been rising alarmingly, posing a great challenge to the mankind. Everyone, therefore, is morally bound to guard himself / herself against the onslaught of the dredful AIDS, not only in his /her own interest, but also in the larger interest of the human race. [bodytext] =>
Mr.AIDS is an ominous intruder,
Who might knock at your door unawares,
And, if inadvertently, you open the door,
Mr.AIDS sneaks stealthily into your abode,
That one wrong move of yours,
Is like opening the Pandora`s box,
Spreading misery and grief all through your life.
Once inside, Mr.AIDS is all pervasive,
Knocks your ‘body guard` down in the encounter,
Making you vulnerable for all diseases to breed.
He is not a Dracula in the fiction,
But a real character,
Who sucks every drop of your blood,
Before he nails you down in your coffin.
Mr. AIDS is such a resolute adversary,
That he would launch his onslaught,
By employing the state-of-the-art weapon, H.I.V.,
And the only way to combat this formidable foe,
Is to make your fortress impregnable,
By practising the following drill meticulously.
Shun perverse and sensual life,
When it comes to pricking your skin,
Insist on a sterile or a disposable one.
Should you ever require blood transfusion,
Be sure to screen the donor’s blood.
Beware, Mr.AIDS is spreading his dragnet menacingly,
Be vigilant , therefore, in guarding your fortress,
As any breach would usher in Mr.AIDS,
Who would consolidate his position thereafter,
And leave you only after entombing your corporal frame.
