As I awakened there you were still with me, Musk oil lingered on my chest where the skin touched, Tracing my tongue on my lips I could taste that kiss, On the nightstand a chained heart that had graced your neck, All merely remnants of a nights past, Closing my eyes again to somehow bring you to me, An image of you with him was all I saw, He'll be the one seen as you open your eyes, That first kiss will be his with the paper and coffee, A missing necklace and strange cologne aren't noticed, And he has the ring that keeps you where I want to be.
