You know I've been hurt and I don't trust easily
You're starting to see the different sides of me
And still you care enough to love holding me

It's like walking on all five points of a star
And feeling the wind's breath on your face
You're everything I don't understand
That's why you fascinate me

You're everything that everyone else isn't
I love that you're anything but ordinary
I know that you feel what you feel and that's that
So it's easier for me to believe you

I never would've imagined that I'd thrive
When faced with a mystery like you
But you make my eager senses hum
And you stimulate my mind

I'm looking for the key to open all your doors
Maybe while I'm searching I'll find mine inside you
Maybe you're the one who'll set me free at last
Maybe it's not about who I love the most

Coz somehow you touch me where no one else can
You put things into a whole new light
Where they shine much more brilliantly
You challenge the way I think

You make me look at life a little differently
I realize now things are only what they are coz
They are what you make them, no more and no less
So it all depends on how you look at it

I'll never not believe in what I believe
But I can alter my perception
Find a way to let go and be free
So that I can fly with you [comments] => 1 [counter] => 187 [topic] => 2 [informant] => MoonlitAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
