A broken tree that still lives.

A broken man on a ledge
memories from a broken dream.
And the hopes dashed on a rock bed.
And his heart shattered to pieces still.
He whispered to his ear...
A broken tree can still live.
Yet I am human and know not how to breathe.
Yet I am human and know not how to live.

I stand at the edge

I stand at the edge...

Back. The only place to go...back to give it another try or else back to try the next bend in the road ...or the one after that...and then take a right turn and don't look back.
Your poem was totally fantastic, profound and sad too.
I loved it!
Best wishes always
from
Kay.

Excellent flowing poem, full of feeling and meaning.
There isnt much I can say to change what you feel so I wont.
There is to much darkness in my heart, so what ever I said to make you feel better, may prove false and unkind.
But I know the edge, as inviting as it is is it really the way to go?
Best I can do sorry.
