FALL OF LIFE

The waves push out onto the sand
Then foam and then recede again
Each passing wave obscures the marks, that we have made
Castles fall
And footprints fill
With ever smaller pools
Until
There was no trace that
We were here at all.

So true , we all try to leave a mark in life. Some succeed, others don't.
