Array ( [sid] => 2244 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Tears [time] => 2002-08-13 13:35:22 [hometext] => This is the way I feel whenever i think about God. The poem also shows how "the world" may react to me at times. [bodytext] => The tears they go, they drift and they flow.
Why I cry? Nobody really knows.
I'm not playing "Christian", it sure isn't a show.
When I think of his goodness, I just wanna go...
Let the Spirit run loose like it's lost in a maze.
Then fall to my face and cry out for days.
You say, "real men don't cry, this doesn't please us."
I say, " real men do cry, if for no reason but Jesus."
This wretched flesh that plagues my soul,
Will continue to prick me until I grow old.
Because of my Savior, I cry, can't you see?
His unchanging heart loves me for me.
I'm not worthy, but once again I see the sun.
Here we go again, here comes another one...
Or two or three or four rushing down my cheek,
Shaking and trembling so I can't even speak.
"But wait, you have sinned?", Yes, that I know
So as long as I've got Jesus then they'll continue to flow.
