There's a cloud over this city
and its driving me insane
Society's gone too far
and everyone's to blame
they're wearing plastic masks
each and every one
rushing here and there
pretending they're having fun
you're not so content
we can see straight through
you act like everyone else
cos its the convential thing to do
I am not like them
I know i don't belong
I'll live the way i want
i'll stand up and stay strong
You'll have to let me be ME
and love me for it as well
But if you don't approve my way of thinking
you can all just go to hell
This is who i am
as scarey as it may be
so please stop sending me places
where they attempt to change me
I want to live my life
stop forcing me your way
i refuse to be like you
faking through every day
I don't want to learn how to cope with this world,
i want to enjoy it and feel free
so i'm asking you all right now-
pLEaSe JuSt LeT mE Be ME!
