a bit defunkt, defused, denial, deriled, okay? so
pardon me, lack of a better thought has kept me mild
a waste today, i taste it sour, the day has left me
evening comes, feels better, a little more interesting
sweetly soothing living lively yes absolutely good
bluntly, nothing worse is coming in neck of this wood
serene tonight, lasts a time, then the night is done
morning here, little worry, just wait for another one
a lot of times i have too much on my mind
but not this time no not this time...
i
am feeling night take me
am taking a short leave
am trying for the best things while
you
have found your decadence
have left it's old presence
have tried true to your pot of peace
i abet you abhor, abase, abstruct, and abstain merely
from nothing, you know that's going to leave a stain
i left complete, from yesterday, now here i go into
brand new time, different place, right coming through
scathing sultry luscious loving not just what i need
dully, something other than that is that what i greed
pristine a night, for awhile, roundabout in my head
revamped thought, new perspective, no nothing is dead
feels such a crime to let go of the time
but no more this time no not this one...
i
am feeling day take me
am taking a short leave
am trying for the best things while
you
have found your decadence
have found it too immense
have tried true to your pot of peace
we
are taking this one way
are making best of this day
are breaking through best we can as
you
have found your propensity
have found your anomaly
have made a niche inside your peace
i don't run clockwork like you
i don't know what to hold onto
i don't sleep inside your peace
i don't think that i can lease
i don't solve it out the same
i don't deal as you in my pain
i don't look at it all for now
i don't think that i know how
but you run right along with me
and you know things i can't see
and you sleep inside my thoughts
and you think of what is brought
and you solve it best as you can
and you deal knowing i am a man
and you look at what isn't seen
and you think of just what i mean
