if i could wake up in Heaven's care
Never to have to live here again
forever within god's lair

Living it up in the eternal realm
being with Christ each day
Knowing the truth and being kind
never again to have to wait

Wait upon the end to come and relieve us all
of our living duty of portraying Christ
yet i think to myself......
would that be right?

Have I lived a good enough life to be Celestial?
have I portrayed Christ in my very being?
Can i say to God "I have done my best"?
would I then truly be seeing?

Or would I be blinding myself to reality?
I realize now that i must continue this life
to live for God each day
and to daily portray Christ.......

I think to myself what a relief it would be
if i could wake up in Heaven's care
Never to have to live here again
