only when I'm dead
book jacket says I'm sick in the head
stuck all day in bed
all I see is red
forget to be fed
but I don't wanna be read
only when I'm dead
so they can see how Ted
messed with the little girl's head
and how Ed
reminded me that anger was red
because i don't wanna be read
only when I'm dead
after all I've ever said
I'm just a simple girl wed
a soul full of lead
gagged on the broken bread
look where I was always led
to a room full of dread
I can't be only read
once I'm dead
all I endured from Fred
everything he said
in his bed
where he tread
as he watched all the red
the little girl bled
too much needs to be said
so much still trapped in my head
I still see all the red
need to purge every room of dread
once all the shadows have fled
and the laden soul has been shed
I'll rise from the bed
with a clearer head
because I don't want it to ever be said
she was only read
after she was dead. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I will answer your plea my friend.
You are being read right now.....and it's not the end!
You have so much to offer......you have so much to say.....how can you get through this day, without sharing with us all?
Your poetry is so special, carefully said, thought about pen held tall!
When your picture falls, Jaymee....you may be just a poet, but everyone is going ot know it!
