Array ( [sid] => 23374 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => For the last time, Daddy [time] => 2003-09-17 15:45:00 [hometext] => I came to visit him, left my just born baby at home, but.... saw he had to go...for the last time I saw him...It is a strange feeling when you see the death in someone´s eyes.. you just know.. I loved him. My Daddy.
[bodytext] => I was standing there
staring in them
two blue springs
they were so deep
I knew I saw them
today for the last time

For the last time
I could read in your eyes
in that short while I read more
than I could believe so

Those lovely years we experieneced
and your love, Dad,
my son was just born
and we gave him name Tom
and I am sorry,
that you both could not live
that you had to leave

But Daddy I knew
you had to..
too big was your pain
and that night I prayed
your ache eased
so that you could stay in peace
That Tuesday morn
at 1.50 the clock has stopped
and I hope
I just believe
you are in paradise, Daddy.....
I loved you so!!!!!!!!

This is one of the most beautiful poems I've ever read. Great work! Congrats on your new life and I'm sorry for your loss at the same time. What a sucky situation.
