I cant explain what to feel right now
I know I want you but do you want me
Am I willing to take that next step?
The thought of you not being here empties me
Words cant express the way you make me feel
Ink on a paper cant show the emotions that run through me
Looking in your eyes takes me on a journey that I dont want to end
The thought of you not being here empties me
I cant say I am in love, I cant say I dont want to be
But just to hear those words said to me could send me
The thought of you not being here empties me
As I lay here on the pavement, my eyelids feel heavy
Are you on your way? I do not know
Will I make it through this? I do not know
The thought of you not being here empties me
Were still just friends and I start to cry
I feel myself being pulled up to the sky
Why am I being taken from you?
The thought of you not being there empties me
I scream out with my last breath,
My friends do not regret anything; hold nothing back
Because you never know when your time will come
The thought of you not being here empties me
I see the wreckage; there you are standing beside me
I promised I would always be here for you
I will be your shadow; I will guide you on the right path
Does the thought of me not being there empty you
