Array ( [sid] => 23632 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Zombie Girl [time] => 2003-09-22 08:35:00 [hometext] => I haven't written a poem in a very long time, and I'm not even sure if I like this one... But at least I wrote a poem. [bodytext] => Down the street, there lives a zombie girl.
I see her walk by every Tuesday night.
Hands clutched and skin ghostly pale,
She tends to drag her feet.
The home she dwells in is a merry one.
It radiates comfort and “Welcome to You,”
And flowers reach toward sun and climb the rails,
But don’t you dare peak inside the windows.

In the class next door, I catch glimpses of her.
The zombie girl raises her hand and speaks softly,
And no one sees the quiet death creeping on her neck
Or how her hair is dull and limp.
They all smile blankly as she exists
Decaying at their leisure.

I walked by the zombie girl today,
Turned around, and stopped her.
Before then, her face had never been revealed,
Since she wears a deceitful mask of peace.
I stared at her, but she did nothing.
Nothing seemed the appropriate thing to do.
Almost afraid, I asked the zombie girl for a name.
But all she gave me was,
“I am Tomorrow and I am You.”

This was pretty good and the last line was quite creepy. Good job with this you should write more.
