It's not real hard.
It's a child's mind
inside a square
With its windows
open wide
The sky is going to fall again
The sky will never die
They promised me
I would survive
Do strangers ever lie?
I've sold my soul
to the highest bidder
He found me a home
on the streets.
Lightning sighs a lullaby
She's left out in the cold
Don't cry
I still love you
I just don't show it well.
Paint me a silver fountain
I'm just a dreamer
I'm a believer
Passion feeds the spirit
And I'm smiling as I fall.
Fly
It's not real hard.
We can't keep hiding
in this well
Panoramic patchwork quilt
Labyrinth of improbable symmetry
I'm hunting for the prize
Pour me a tip of the ice
I'm tired of the flames.
WInd him up
He won't stop walking
If I can find the trail
I'll catch him one day.
Cigarette smoking parlour ghost
My body's here for rent
There's blood between the sheets
I'm dying for some company
To keep me till the end.
Scream and the use the oxygen
You've wanted for so long
Calling from the universe
The aliens signal in vain
Broken bits of mismatched dreams
I'm going for a ride.
Fly
The sky's never too high
The pirates don't deserve this night
Chariots in the mire
She's on the go
I'm looking for those friends of mine
They're smoking on the move
Treading hard and living light
Graveyard catalogues out of print
I just thought I'd tell you
I'm made from Valour's dreams
I think
I'll be okay. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 169 [topic] => 14 [informant] => Avarice_Riot [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )
