Beyond this race of fools
Repair the damage heal the pain
Revisit memories pools

This race we run begins at birth
And ends within our graves
I need to stop and find some peace
And rest upon the waves

Great winds speak softly to my sails
For I am at your will
Take up the tiller plot my course
Whilst I my strength refill

Hi Dave,
Beautiful poem...I like it a lot. I always appreciated the healing power of water...its sound and the feel of sea breezes. You said it very nicely here.

Lovely, Dave...The sea has that soothing effect on me also. (Thank God, it is just a stone's throw away)... I enjoyed this... Thanks also for your continued support.
Hugs,
Jenni...
