[bodytext] => The misty clouds slithered across the darkened sky
And crooked arrow of light shot forth from the heavens to the earth The tiny liquid droplets made every single light shine like a star As the stars were afraid to show lest they get vacuumed into the darkness ever-growing On this night, shackled, the Moon struggled against her serpentine chains Her silver rays unable to pierce through the night yet she continued her vain effort An agonizing hazy glow managed to appear yet it casted wicked shadows upon the world Below, the willows wilted into fatigue, her many arms gently tickling the water's surface The roaring river itself had been transformed into a trickling stream It merely whispered now what before was a strange melody of life The whirling wisps of wind worked with the spirit of sleep To cool my heart and mind to succumb to its magic spell A shadow casted over my soul, a shudder echoed through my body No longer was the wafting scent of the red, red roses aromatherapy, now it was a sedative No longer was the grass bent to my will, its will now supporting mine Sleep's mystifying magic now working its charm...I closely grow ignorant of this scene Yet the last thing I see...The Heavenly Moon is yet free once more to banish darkness from this night [comments] => 1 [counter] => 206 [topic] => 25 [informant] => huey [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )
