as if she cant feel,
as if the scars of theyre hate,
will suddenly heal,
something inside,
almost says let go,
give in to the laughter,
blend in with the flow,
but i wont allow hate,
to form in my eyes,
no one should be judged,
by looks, height or size,
laughter should be beautiful,
but not in the case,
i see pain in her eyes,
forming tears on her face,
her cheeks start to glow,
her smile fades away,
and though its no loss to us,
shell always remember these days,
so that when she thinks of her victories,
shell think of her loss,
and for a simple smirk,
why pay that cost?

I loved this..it flowed so nice, and its so true, laughter is such a joyous thing but its also horrible to be laughed at.

so true - the worst kind of poison. it hurts so much to be the subject of ridicule - as we haven all experienced at some point in time, and to laugh at another expense would rate the lowest in my books. you write with truth and a good flow. i loved it

Kate

So sad but true happens way to often and i hate to admit that I used to do that as well. A beautiful poem indeed.
