Array ( [sid] => 25440 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => LEARNING HOW TO GROW OLD [time] => 2003-10-21 00:33:09 [hometext] => Like Humpty Dumpty I recently took a fall, all I did was bump my head as I bent over, and kept beeeennnnnnddddding over and hit the wall! This poem is what came out! [bodytext] => When one advances in age.
'tis accomplished stage by stage.
As an infant, we learned to walk.
Crawl first, stand, sometimes, Balk.

Learning to sing the "Older Age" song.
One verse, not too long.
Growing older is sung verse, by verse.
Getting older is just like being young,
except in reserve!

Balk, stand, then you crawl......
Loose your balance, then you fall!
'tis not hard to learn nor do.
'Cause your mind's all backward too!

Growing older slow, go with the flow.
Sense of humor, brings it's glow!
Springs on your bumpers,
When you fall on you rumpers!
'tis not hard to learn at all!
*smiles*

To grow old with grace
And laugh when you fall on your face
Is a gift my friend
That is why we have padded rear ends

Hugs
