fate has had it in for me, we've battled all my life
she put me through so much crap, all the stupid strife
i told her to stop and find someone else
and torment them instead
and for a while it seemed she listened, i thought her games were dead
but now i realize her master plan to give me what i want
so she could rip it from my life and use it just to taunt
she mocks and says, "remember girl? how happy u just were?
remember how u loved him so, for pain he was the cure!
it makes it all the sweeter for me that for him, u fell so hard
for there's no way lose him and come out of it unscarred!"
so as for u fate u should know wherever u may be
from this day forward ill fight until u release ur grip on me
