I haven't submitted any poetry for a while, and a certain member (Bobo) reminded me of that, so i thought i'd post something. it's not very good, but they never really are. Here you go... [bodytext] => Don’t you give up on me,
Say you’ll be there when I come around.
I’ll lie here in my life long coma,
And your bitter tears of regret
Will eventually hit the ground.

I’ll understand if you can’t continue to care,
It’s not like it’s all up to me,
Whatever way you choose to go,
I know you’ll continue to shine;
Blessed be.

I’m petrified that one day soon,
One day, I’ll wake up and find you gone,
I’ll cry and stare in wonder,
At the emptiness of the room and the fear;
I’ll have no one to love or to lean on.

It’s up to you,
Do what you feel is right,
Don’t worry yourself with my pain,
Don’t ask me if I’m ok,
Or if I sleep at night.

Before you say your goodbye,
Please, give me one final kiss,
As I lie, a silent princess on my death bed,
Remember,
It’s my immortal wish.

Don’t you give up on me,
Say you’ll be there when I come around.
I’ll lie here in my life long coma,
