none like any other
I'd rather have another one
that would be my druther.

I wait for this day
with ragged bated breath
'tis not a celebration
the anniversary of her death.

A very long day
and empty-eyed mother
she lost the baby sister
he took away the brother.

Wish it were a rainy day
like the one so long ago
the morn I buried her
the night he first walked aglow.

It was a simple cloudy day
that I brought her into life
and oh so very stormy
when night ended her strife.

Every wintery fourth day
I've had ever since
gives me sunshine not showers
world's careless words not minced.

Tired of those wicked days
I feel the gloom set in
nothing to subside it
not even a little sin.

This is just a day
it comes and it goes
the blue sadness remains
and the tears never slow. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 159 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I to remember a day sat apart
a day my sister had gone away
every year a day to remember
when she had gone away
but still i wish she could had stayed..

a balloon i send off into the air
to tell her hi and i miss her here
a time to share with her since she has been gone
that without her i feel all alone..

But hope for later
when i shall see
her again with me.

love ya jaeann.GOD loves you to....sandy
