I laugh at the interpretation of what people call a prep For judging someone before you know them is not a good concept
The true meaning of a prep is slang for one who attends preperatory school But people who do not know this assume that preps are people who think their cool
I am a prep and all my friends are too we care about real things not who has the best shoes.
We work hard in school and set high stands for what we want to be but yet we like to have fun: play sports and have parties
Its actually kind of funny to think we respresent superficiality that is not the truth for all that is a fallacy
We care about ourselves, yes but we care about other things too We do not care only about our looks as you may think we do
Im sorry for those who think preps are snobs, conceited, carefree, Barbies
But I take offense at this and other preps do too So next time you attempt to judge us You're not defining us....
You're defining you

AMAZING! Point proven! I guess you could say I thought a bit on arden's side...... MIND--- I never hated "preps" or thought very negatively..... I just thought they were so.... seperate from myselft.... You've made me see that people who I think are so seperate from me are really not that different at all. You've shown me so much through this poem, I thank you profoundly =)
Love Joy and Peace,

I really like this poem, I went to a catholic school from k-9th grade so i guess that you could call me a prep and all the other people i went to school with are too. And they really are just like everyone else. And i really hate it to when people stereo type peoplee. it's wrong. But anyways this is a really good poem, keep up the good job. |

Nada personal to anyone but I agree with both sides of this story. Both sides honestly stereotype. I witnessed it from being neutral and not getting involved. I don't think either side is willing to give anyone outside of them a real chance. Maybe it should be tried for once by everyone. |
