Array ( [sid] => 27059 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Leaves of Autumn [time] => 2003-11-14 01:11:34 [hometext] => I told my girl last week a good one was brewing, all I needed was a pinch of this and a swig of that and here it is. To our love forever ... [bodytext] => Today I saw a fluttering shadow, was it a butterfly
upon the breeze?

Sadly, I came to realize, it was an autumn-leaf falling from the trees.
Pain of lost-love has brought me to my knees.

Life is never very simple
there are many trials for us to bear.

And love, oh love is a blessing, it is a gift that we-all need to share.
With your love, I’ve had a lion’s share.

An angel came today and he carried you away
this is my silent grief-tears-and pain, most-of-all this is my plight.

Knowing-yes I know now, my words will never make things all right.
I’ve learnt that this cold autumn night.

I am proud of our time together
you took me places I’ve not been before.

I wonder, why I was not man enough just to smash down my stubborn door?
Why am I crying and wondering for?

One day you’ll be sitting
with memories of past-times when we were one.

Please remember, oh dear, please remember, my simple-love, my smile and our fun.
Those first days when our love had begun.

So while you are away with the angel
butterfly with the cutest of smiles.

Know that, I will always be with you-cross the forests, the seas and the miles.

So while you are away with the angel
When your life is full of those trials

Know that,
oh please,
know that
my love is still with you-
Cross the forests,
the seas
and the miles…
Those endless forests,
those seas
and those miles…

Today I saw a fluttering shadow, was it a butterfly
upon the breeze?
