Why was life breathed into my heart
Why must circumstance destroy the preparation
Why should I have to deal with the separation

How can I possibly love and harbor such care
Maybe people are right when they say life isn't fair
Why must I be overcome by these emotions
Why do I pursue these ill-fated notions

Somebody please tell me
At least before I die
Somebody please reveal to me
Where the answers lie
Can anybody tell me
Is it just not my season
I wish someone could help me
All I need is a reason

Pointlessly wandering the galaxy
As I erode away insignificantly
Why was one so perfect thrust into my sight
Yet I remain alone every passing night

Why do I continue to wake up every day
With a fractional hope for the end of my dismay
Why was life breathed into my heart
An insipid poison from the very start

A rhetorical question with no answer awaitng
Uncompromisingly frusterating
A riddle consumed in the walls of a mystery
Enigmatic destiny

Somebody please tell me
At least before I die
Somebody please reveal to me
Where the answers lie
Can anybody help me
I'm immure in the cage
I've read the entire book
But it must be missing a page

This one got to me. I wish I had the answers. Wouldn't it be nice to have a magic eraser and erase all the pain away? Then start all over without the shadows that haunt? Kie

Spoken with gusto. I'd say more, but I'll just read it over again instead.
