Array ( [sid] => 27306 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Write Away the Pain [time] => 2003-11-17 11:08:05 [hometext] => poetry is often used as an outlet for venting feelings when times get rough... I'm sure we can all identify. [bodytext] => The pen lightly touching the paper
Scribbling, scribbling madly
We all need to run away somehow
And this is my escape

Words are swirling before me
Typing, typing madly
We all need to get away somehow
And this is my escape

When the shadows close
And darkness reigns
Can't deal with all
This tortured pain
There has to be a way
To make it through today
Don't delay, but write away

Forming these haphazard stanzas
Trying to make some space
We all need to fly away somehow
And this is my escape

And in the end it's nothing like
All I wanted to say
We all need to let it out somehow
And this is my escape

When the shadows close
And darkness reigns
Can't deal with all
This tortured pain
There has to be a way
To make it through today
Don't delay, but write away

Don't delay, but write away

Write away
