Push things into today
Don't think I could pick myself up tomorrow
Won't try to find my way

Thought that I was lacking
No one ever does
Things could have been so much better
It really never was

Traffic lights that blind me tomorrow
My life turned from green to red
Can't seem to step out of my example
And I can't get you out of my head

Sick senses that make life go wrong
Catch me assuming the worst
Please don't concern yourself
Let me fix broken will first

Brought on the ugliest of consequences
Kicked me right in the face
Pushed me completely off the shelf
And forgot to put me back in place

These nights never end
And my thoughts toss me hour after hour
Hold my breath and fall into dream
Pass out under the stars that went sour

Is this why I work so hard?
Is it yes or no?
Why do you always run away from me?
Where is it you always go?

Watch my mind
Shatter it on the ground
Move away from this place
I won't hear a sound
