Hides a tear stained face;
In the light of day -
Everything seems so perfect.

Looking for something to hold on to,
Searching for a purpose...

Longing to move forward
Trying to forget the past...
Reaching for a destination,
Beyond all the doubt -
But its just too far out of grasp.

The sound of a heart breaking
Is silent,
Therefore; No one will ever know -
The feelings I hide behind a smile...
Or the memories that won't let go. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 385 [topic] => 22 [informant] => harshreality [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 17 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

I like the verse-form that that's written in.

And the overall poem's really good, too.
