Thunder causes lights to flicker
Almost left in the dark
Immense beams of barbed lightning strike
At this distance no more than a spark
Rain pounds the rattling windows
As my heart pounds my chest
This musical masterpiece of nature
Leaves me delirious and obsessed
I stand soaked in the downpour
Sheets of rain coming from every way
I stand and feel it's my time
This is where I want ot stay
Nature what have you brought
This time you have surely sinned
As strands of hair blow across my face
I long to be swept away in the wind
The cascade of water rinses my wounds
The puddles at my feet are red as wine
The garnet pool rises to my waist
Pain washes over, this release is mine
I stand 'neath blackened clouds
A crying child shivering and cold
The drops of rain have become my tears
The storm is my story untold

This is my favourite yet. Words can't describe how good this is; I can't even come up with a word. But these words are combined beautifully. A wonderful, wonderful write.
