They play their song of thunder
"Let the rain begin"

Falling down so quietly before they drop
Onto the ground they make their sound
And never stop

Imaginary ryhmes carry on the wind
Whistling their mournful tune
Around each bend

Let me fly and tough the sky
Lie on a cloud
Listening to the rainsong where it's never loud

I'm stranded here on earth
But sometimes I don't mind
I can use imagination and sometimes find

That it's better when we're limited;
We can think much more
About what it'd be like otherwise-

But you open your own door.

Cumulonimbus comes rolling in
They play their song of thunder
"Let the rain begin"

Falling down so quietly until they drop
Onto the ground they make their sound
And never stop

Make up your own ending on this rainy day
When the the storm clouds come out
With the rain to waltz and play [comments] => 4 [counter] => 173 [topic] => 27 [informant] => Eve [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )
