Array ( [sid] => 27950 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Myself [time] => 2003-11-25 18:09:44 [hometext] => something old i wrote it while going through anger management(lol) [bodytext] => Long ago I lost myself
buried me deep inside
not realizing back then
how... to myself, I had cried
believing my illusion
ignoring my own soul
so over the years..my mind
paid the toll

Today I am free to live
life as i will
facing the struggles and this
void I can't fill
slowley I open the gates,
I once Locked
allowing myself to see
the memories i blocked

I look in the mirror
like...what i now see
telling myself
I am all i should be
once pain was quite easy
to read in my eyes
now painless and happy
I threw out my disguise

It's me you will see
I no longer do hide
my head is held high
with arms at my side
I walk this planet
with a confident gait
proving to self
that it's never to late

Tall i now stand
for all I am worth
A child, A woman, Myself
since my birth
no longer in fear
of what may be waiting
decisions are mine and
not up for debating

I'm loving myself more
with each passing day
it seems to me (at last)
I'm now on my way
reasurred of my being
my reason for living
and exactly how much
of me I'll be giving

Good work here.
It's hard to luv yourself when u r use to always putting someone before ones self.
Keep up the good work.
