in this nursing home I sit
I'm tired and I'm broken
I remember yesterday
and words that we had spoken
as I sit inside my room with
dull fluorescent lights
I remember the passion of those
dark and starry nights
your memories now flood me
I'm crying everyday
If I could only stand... then I
would walk away
and I would start again a
million miles from here
then perhaps the thoughts of
you would finally dissapear
and I would find a new love
and live my life again
but all I have are memories
of things that once had been

This was beautiful and sad at the same time. An awesome write, I once felt the same way as you do over missing someone and sometimes I still do so much, so this brought back memories for me. Absolutely awesome write, thanks for sharing, and all the best with this.

| this is very nice...i love how it is written you have a way of making feelings plain in all you write...thats a gift in my book...it is always sweet to love and love someone deep...cos int the end part of your heart is theres to keep...love will come again, it just wont be the same....slr |
